Competitions at Trinity
We hold regurater competitions at Trinity in both print and digital formats. We have 3 levels to enter, So if you’re new to photography or an old hand at it we have a level for you to enter.
These are externally judged, with the judge selecting awards for Commended, Highly Commended, 3rd, 2nd and 1st being given.
Images that are selected in 1st, 2nd or 3rd are then entered into a best of the best at the end of the year, to see who will have bragging rights over the next year.
Both types print and digital competitions are free to all members to enter. You will need to provide your own prints for the print competition, however we do have members to help organise this.
Your print will be displayed for both the judge and the rest of the club on a lighting stand. It will then be placed on a print stand beside the other images.
For this reason there is a size requirement of the mount for your image of 500mm x 400mm or 20inches x 16inches. However the print can be any size within the mount.

Digital (PDI)
The digital images are displayed on the clubs projector for all the see. We use a program called MagicLantern to display and record the scores.
For this reason there is a maximum size requirement of the images. 1600 x 1200 is the maximum display area with in MagicLantern. However your images can be any size smaller than this.
